Title: As You Weep

by Tiffany-Zara from Lancashire | in writing, poetry, dark

As You Weep

There will be a time,
When your stomach twists,
And your heart goes into shutdown,

You will feel the anguish,
And the hysteria...
...Like when a leukemia child loses their first strand of hair,

But those you dismiss,
The ones who are always there,
Will be there to care,
A child? A friend? A lover?

It doesn't matter who,
So long as they listen attentively,
A you weep
