Title: Journey To My Heart
by Craig from Cornwall | in writing, poetry, love
Sails spark us into motion
bustling dock bays
farewell families,
port to sail
the soft creases of your nose;
mesmerising/inviting.
Mast pinning a mapwork sky
compass necklace
head to wind,
Santa Maria; land ahoy!
the light dry of your lips;
lightly travelled.
Treasure un-founded
a captain's mutiny
urban legends map,
discovering indiscovery
the deep sea of your eyes;
pure exploration.
You are my Christopher Columbus
a captain and a saint,
You have the map to my heart;
I hope you won't trade.
