I thought that I could make the sound effects for Krulius by using different items I could find around my house. For Krulius’ movement, I thought I tried many different things. I eventually ended up with scraping two knives together. For Krulius’ toxic breath I thought that the sound was effective which was closing a sun roof. I thought it sounded like breathing from a different species. It also sounded slightly robotic and to me Krulius looks slightly robotic himself. And finally, for his bio-converter on his wrist I just used the sound from my microwave and edited it on my computer! The end result sounded quite interesting for me. I didn’t really know what a bio-converter sounded like but if I had to guess, I’d say it sounds like that. My thought process behind each of these ideas was that I knew that Krulius sounded quite futuristic so I tried to make them all sound quite robotic like they came from a completely different century! I hope you see where I was coming from and choose me to be one of the eight winners. I’d like to thank you for this great opportunity and I hope I do well.
