Entry to the Game Design Competition by Chelsea who attended a FREE workshop at ´óÏó´«Ã½ Blast on tour in Whitehaven. She says "First in my sequence is the breathing. I obviously used my breath in order to create this. With my fist I muffled the breathing. When I uploaded it onto Garage Band, added an effect called Amp Simulation. I believe this sound would be ideal for Krulius because I believe his breath would sound distant from under the cloak. Next is the Digital Bio-converter. I used some buttons on a phone that made beeping sounds. Also, I used some newspaper, and crushed it in my hand to make the background noise. In Garage Band I added effects such as Distortion and Track Echo. I think this would be great for the bio-converter as it makes it sound outlandish and alien. The beeping also makes it sound mechanical as well, perhaps like advanced technology. Last are the footsteps. I used some moisturiser for this to create a squelching sound that I imagined a creature from the swamp might sound like when they walked, and then in Garage Band I added effects like Echo. I think it sounds perfect for the footsteps as it not only has the squelching sound, but also it sounds like it may be from out of space."
