FFS
Fickleness:
Where has this got us?
In a confused state
Erming and uming creating a fuss
Trying to determine our own fate
A simple decision of what ice cream to get
Elongating a queue with a futile choice
Or an important decision made not flippantly, is met
With idle concerns, whilst we focus on our inner voice.
Fakeness:
What possesses a person to be fake?
Celebrities like Paris Hilton or Katie Price?
The decision for plastic surgery shouldn’t be made by mistake
Nothing in life should be left to dice.
Another aspect of fakeness is that people don’t say what they’re thinking
Don’t pretend, masquerade and cover up with social niceties
The truth doesn’t always have to come out after drinking
And not everything a person does should be just to please.
Stubbornness:
Why should a person be stubborn?
Set in their ways, especially if they are wrong
For fear their ego will be whittled down and forlorn
Unwilling to accept another side even if its strong
Won’t budge on an issue or reconcile
Refusing to discuss or develop their thoughts
Won’t leave until they have waited a while
Unwilling to amend or open their mind to something they were taught.
Be genuine, be true, and be liked.
That is how the world should spin
But instead it’s dizzy, because its drink has been spiked
And the gates to heaven are now closed, so you'll never get in
Poem about the human character and its worst attributes.
