Title: London Calling
by ameliaaaa from Kent | in writing, poetry, story-telling
Oh pretty pretty heart of England, you are an old romancer. You are bustling and busy and rude and spitting. You are acoustic music in the tubes. You are paint across the walls. You are the men in suits and the women in suits and everyone is proper. But the people of London are not. They have drums and the drumming sound surrounds them. They have dogs and rags and papers and guitars. They will play and sing in the day and at night they will cry. They will sleep against the corner stone and they will cry.
