My initial inspiration for the ship came when reading that the Krulius was from an industrial swamp planet. I immediately thought of ‘The Watcher’ in the Lord of the Rings, and incorporated a swamp tentacle style into a jellyfish shape. When flying, the ship's tentacles and green area above them spin around, propelling the ship through space. I wanted to keep an organic feel to the ship, as if half spaceship and half swamp creature. The green area is thus composed of a fleshy substance, with claws, whilst the main bulk of the ship is metallic. The special feature for my Krulius spaceship is its "sucker". The long pipe (matching the pipes on the Krulius’s outfit) that hangs from the bottom of the ship has a special sucker on the end that sucks the essence of the other alien species’ into the Krulius's ship where it can be stored in digital form. It allows the Krulius to easily capture other unaware species. I wanted the sucker to be really menacing, so I studied the Predator's mouth and added a similar style to the sucker end.
