Title: On five twisted legs

by Sophie-Marie from Leicestershire | in writing, poetry, love

On five twisted legs
The antelope beckons and
With lead pencils I sketch its heart,
Craft a plane out of veined sugar paper
And set it on the shore.
On five twisted legs
I beckon Atlas to free the skies,
Wade towards the empty carcass
And bury myself within.
