I love photographing motorsports. The smoothness of the background against the sharpness of the subject is pleasing to look at, and cars make beautiful subjects to shoot. I decided to only keep the colour in the car and in the curb on the track because I'm trying to emphasise that in a race, you're in a car on your own. Sure, there are teams, but you're the only person sat in that car, it's the only thing that matters to you, the rest of the world is a blur. I have a full colour version, but this looks far better in a competition! It's a shame I can only enter 1 photo, I have plenty similar to this.
