Hello Eddy,
I saw the work you are doing and I think it is great.
I teach kids on guitar and running workshops in music has shown that kids can get away from drugs if they have something to replace it with. It beats giving up!
I am in Asia on tour, but maybe I can come and do a "coffeehouse" show for the kids at the local school when I am back in the UK. Best of luck.

We have held three meetings since the Coffee House and a core group of people are emerging to promote the development of the Brooke Park space. Things tend to move on their own momentum and while we could do with more help and support we are planning a number of initiatives to reclaim the Park from anti-social elements and unwelcome activities. But those causing the problems are part of the solution as well so direct engagement is important and we have agreed to do this. But the process is only beginning and moving after years of neglect. This is a direct result of the Coffee House Challenge promoted by the 大象传媒 Action Network and we are greatful for that. This was the spur to get things happening. The Friends of Brooke Park will be holding another open meeting at 7.30pm in the Rosemount Resource Centre on Tuesday 11th July at 8pm to discuss the future of the Park and also planning for the Family Fun Day on the 5th August. If anyone would like to come along and participate in the debate around the future of the Park please do so. Also we are keen to hear from people who remember the Park in its hayday. Do you have photos, stories, memories and would like to share them on the 5th August let us know. There will also be loads of activities for the children. Any ideas, suggestions or proposals are encouraged. So come along to the planning meeting Tuesday evening 11th July at 8pm.
