Chugged to a stop

Today we joined the loggers for some tree felling. It was a long walk into the jungle again and then once a tree was selected it was all hands on deck to clear an area for it to land. The loggers are so confident in their abilities that they prepare for exactly where it will land every time.
Bruce is keen to get involved but also a little anxious about using a chainsaw as the chains can sometimes break and go flying. Once we鈥檝e filmed the loggers chop down several trees and Bruce has taken some pointers he鈥檚 on. Rob, Pete and I kept a safe distance while the logger points out to Bruce where to make the first cuts. It was a huge cedar tree with the trunk about a metre and a half in diameter.

As Bruce was about three-quarters of the way through and about to make the final cut the chainsaw suddenly chugged to a stop. The loggers scratched their heads and spent the next hour trying to mend the chainsaw. The huge tree stood there precariously and with no luck in fixing it the loggers gave up for the day and would return another time to finish it off with an axe.
