Comments

  • Comment number 1.

Another action packed week of exciting interactive content. Unfortunately my excitement is tempered somewhat by the near universal use of the words "not available on Freesat". This is getting ridiculous. Why doesn't the ´óÏó´«Ã½ at least make some attempt to make this material available to the 1 million users of the satellite service it part owns?

  • Comment number 2.

    Richard

Totally agree. I sense a Trust submission to try and resolve this.

  • Comment number 3.

Actually if freesat was intended to be a service for people who couldn't receive freeview in their area, surely they are now being disadvantaged by not even having an equivalent red button service? (forgetting the sky argument for a moment)

  • Comment number 4.

I'm wondering, as a digital newbie, why I have to scroll through a mile-long blog in order to see what is on and when - why isn't there a normal style listing for each type of receiver? (A small advantage would be to highlight the lack of Freesat output, which I imagine makes this blog a frustrating read for those viewers.)

If the EPG on my TV would show what's on, then presumably I could record things like the Weekend Wogan highlights, which are shown when I'm at work. Otherwise I'm not too sure how to record what I want to see!

I now have to resort to iplayer, which is a painful experience only because you can't download WW and I live in a low speed broadband area that doesn't rise to the challenge of streaming video.
