At 27th Dec 2012, queenarumlily wrote:Your Christmas programmes were not worth watching so I thought i`d catch up on iPlayer but that`s not working properly. I seemed to spend most of my of my time over Christmas trying to get the thing to work, then again thaat happens most weeks. As you seem to have so many staff perhaps you could find some to resolve all the issues on iPlayer. A lot of programmes are missing from iPlayer as your system has lost them. Now, instead of keeping programmes for 30 days it`s 7 days. Since August (June for most people) iPlayer has been a complete pain. I`ve missed so many episodes of most programmes I`ve no idea what`s going on. You`ve also lost lots of QI & HIGNFY, you`ve also lost the david Attenborough programmes that I`d started watching. In June & August the excuse was Adobe Air, now I have no idea what it is, could it be yor DRM for iPlayer Desktop. Your staff or are they interns(?) think they`ve resolved the problems. I`ve even been told to leave it until the New Year to see if I`m still getting problems. (Not what I`d call customer service). This happens every week at least twice right up to 26/12/2012/ Do your staff know what they are doing or can`t they be bothered? I`m fed up with losing programmes every week because they don`t last for 30 days as they are supposed to. As for Red Button I spend too much time attempting to work out what`s going on in Casualty as you`ve lost most of the episodes over the last couple of months. Your staff take a long time to answer then I eventually get a patrionising reply that`s useless. If this goes on for much longer my laptop wil be thrown across the room despite it not being it`s fault for your crappy iPlayer. I might as well give up on TV, at least I won`t waste money on a licence fee on numerous programmes I`ve downloaded & you`ve lost because they`re only 7 days old. If anyone asked if I recommended I`d tell them not to bother, it`s useless, doesn`t work as it should, the staff can`t be bothered. I`d tell them to give up TV as the only programmes that were worth watching WERE on ´óÏó´«Ã½ but no longer. I`d tell them there`s no point in using iPlayer & ´óÏó´«Ã½ has lost the plot. This is from someone who has always defended the ´óÏó´«Ã½ but the staff are overpaid & iPlayer is pointless. I can`t get HD as DigitalUK never told that It was possible as I get my signal from a relay transmitter yet you`re starting 3D. What is my licence fee being spent on apart from high salaries & compensation for DGs. None of it is going on iPlayer.
