Breaking up is hard to do...
In between standing at the window watching the spectacular thunder and lightning, we have been gathering together break-up songs for tonight’s show. Start texting with your favourites at five past six.
Break up songs seem to fall into three camps ( and some are just plain camp) which are sad, empowering or just angry.
However I realised listening to a bunch of back to back break up songs that the common ingredient is power drums - you know the Eastenders dum,dum,dum, dum drum sound.
Maybe 'power drums' could be a future theme. Let me know what you think?
