Bryan on the e-mail has come up with tonight's theme of "Before they were really famous". The plan is to feature the bands that gave birth to much bigger stars. Bryan's suggestions are Vinegar Joe, The Tourists and The Housemartins. Let's have yours....

    Hi Bryan and Team
Has to be Longpigs "She Said" for tonights theme in tribute to the amazing Mr Richard Hawley. Shame we couldn't have one from each so you could play one of his fine solo tunes too!

    Hi

How about a song from the Yardbirds (For Your Love) as Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page all started off their careers in the band although they were never in the band at the same time as each other.

How about Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl started off in Nirvana before becoming the lead singer of the Foos. Although Nirvana were really successful, he was only the drummer so I reckon it counts. (please play Foo Fighters - Times like These)

Something from "Goodbye Mr. MacKenzie" would be good. Shirley Manson before she was in "Garbage" and Big John Duncan who once played for "Nirvana".
    Thanks!
