I'm a teenage d***bag...
It will not surprise you to hear that inappropriate language is a hot topic at the ´óÏó´«Ã½ at the moment. However CaptRamius thinks we have taken things too far with the censored version of Teenage Dirtbag that we played on last night's show.
" A bit over the top" was how he described the radio edit which left out three words in the lyrics. I'd like to tell you what they are but, "We must not include offensive language before the watershed or on radio when children are particularly likely to be in our audience, or in online content likely to appeal to a high proportion of children, unless it is justified by the context and then its frequent use must be avoided."
Capt also points out that our censorship was a bit rich particularly as one of our other shows this week talked about 'poo'.
Mind you as the subject was 'Bears' it's not surprising that the Poo(h) word came up several times...
....unless of course he is referring to my use of 'keich' on last night's show. Keich as many of you know is the Scots word for poo and as it's not included in our list of offensive words I think I'm alright.

But of the other 2; 1 is not a specific word that's problematic, but a contextually iffy activity, and the other is very, very, *very* mild.
So case 1: Fine
Case 2: Borderline, but probably fine
Case 3? Over the top.
