No safety net night...
We are so BORED this afternoon! Normally the Get It On office would be a hive of activity with myself and the producer editing tracks, sorting e-mails, fiddling with sound levels and durations and trying to second guess what might be asked for when we get on air.
With half an hour to go to showtime, this is how my possible running order looks.
It's barren. Apart from a trail and a jingle out of the news it's totally empty. That's because tonight we won't be having a regular theme - it's anything goes night. When you hear the first song, that's when I want you to get in touch and suggest the second. It can be anything you like as long as there's a connection to song number one.
If the calls come in and the technology works it will be great fun - although it has the potential to go horribly wrong. I'll try and blog during the show to let you know which way it goes...

Ha! Barely had a second to think never mind blog. It was hard work for everyone involved but great fun tonight. I think we had a record number of texts and some e-mailers and callers got in touch for every single song. Thanks you for all your input. Off home for a lie down now...

I can just imagine the scene: the patient lying on the psychiatrist's couch when in comes Bryan with his notebook and white coat.
"Now, listener, I'm going to play a song and I want you to name the first track that comes into your mind!"
I think tonight might well say something about the psychological health of the Get It On listeners...
Best of luck

And since I'm giving humble suggestions, a tie in with and would be great too.
