Knees up Mrs Mills...
The piano takes centre stage tonight and a search for the great piano players led me to Mrs Mills. She was an artist who was tailor made for Britain's Got Talent when such a thing was just a twinkle in Simon Cowell's eye. Mrs Mills was working as head of the typing pool at the paymaster general's office when she was spotted by a talent scout at a local golf club dance. She went on to sell millions of LPs, share studio space with The Beatles and be managed by the guy who managed the Stones in their early days! On top of all that she has also provided us with undoubtedly the album sleeve of the night. Clearly there ain't no party like a Mrs Mills party...
