Next Week's Themes
After our beach party on Thursday night, BB headed off for a well earned break leaving the keys to the blog to me (Miss Babs) and the keys to the presenter desk to Vic Galloway. We're looking forward to another week of inspired choices so get your thinking caps on and get your suggestions in:
Monday:
Today is Magic Monday - as our theme celebrates spells, illusions and tricks - Disappearing Act, Just an Illusion or is it all Just a Kinda Magic. It's sure to be a spellbinding show.
Tuesday:
Fifty years ago today postcodes were introduced to the UK. So tonight it's all about communication - Letter from America, Writing to Reach You or Please Mr Postman
Wednesday:
Pride comes before tonight's theme - songs about falling is what we're after. When I Fall in Love, Fall at Your Feet or Falling and Laughing!
Thursday:
We're celebrating ego and vanity tonight! Simply the Best, Nobody Does it Better or I Am the Resurrection!

Good theme which could generate a long list but I'm gonna go for one which I've unsuccessfully asked for before but which is perfect for Monday.
Sweet Illusion / Junior Campbell
The lesser known of the ex marmalade guy's two solo hits but far superior to Hallelujah Freedom. Great arrangement and some really soulful backing vocals...and please don't dare talk over the wonderful intro especially where the horns kick in :-)

I know there's been a bit of debate about how much the team value the blog comments versus Facebook - we love the interaction with both! The great thing about the blog is the ability to give you more stories from the office, the show, Bryan's life and our general thoughts on things that crop up. Facebook offers another area online for folk who may not go to blogs, but are using social networking as part of their lives and for us - it's the chance to give you all most convenient and quickest way to interact with the show and get some great music and stories on air. So whichever way you want to get in touch ....we value it!
Ok..bloggers, I'll leave you to it and look forward to seeing your thoughts on falling and vanity for the rest of the week.

What we need are more 'Caption Competition' photies. If there is more than one thread we can contribute to it seems to encourage more humour all round.
