It's a kinda Magic...
As my first show back in the 'Get it on' hot-seat, I was given the all-encompassing 'Lust and Loathing' for L. What a brilliant theme... as ever we were inundated with your choices and very good they were too! Thank you Thank you... We move on of course, and arrive at M. Capt Ramius suggested Manchester; Paulo Pablo went for Mafia; Julie from Edinburgh has plumped for Myths and Legends; Jim Frae Erskine selected Musical Instruments in there; whereas Gaie Brown chose the most Scottish of traits... Moaning! All good, and worthy of future themes on the show. We have however waved our magic wands and decided on... magic! So, we want your suggestions for songs or band names with a link to voodoo, witchcraft, scorcery and tricks. Are you a Black Magic Woman or a Voodoo Chile? Get them in and we'll get them on...

I'm not going to request the Queen song here. I don't like it.
Some I do like and highly recommend:
Steve Miller Band Abracadabra
Might have done for the Lust theme tonight, too. Just got carried away with other stuff and forgot it. No excuse. Incredible song.
Peter Skellern You're A Lady
It includes the lyric "You're pure magic". However tenuous, it works. It's a fantastic song. He's been played once before in recent memory. Other artists have been played time and again. This is class and brass.
ELO Turn To Stone Magic AND Medusa at work here.

Second Joe on Magic by Springsteen, really good song sinking the boot into George W.
Magic and Loss - Lou Reed, from his album of the same name, Lou reflecting on the loss of his dear fried Doc Pomus. Lou reed's best album in my opinion.
Fortune Teller - Benny Spellman or the fantastic The Who studio version (or Live from Leeds version).
Bonnie Raitt - When The Spell Is Broken
Joe mentioned Stevie Nicks and she called het publishing company Welsh Witch Muisc, Rhioannon is of course a cracker but also
Enchanted - Stevie Nicks would be nice (but not sure if that counts for Magic)
