Musical notes...
I do think there's a theme in there about the stars who you thought were bigger than they were. Talking of themes there has been some grumbling on the blog ( I know, who'd have thought!) about themes which have been repeated a few times. Sadly that is often the case but a lot of these themes are new to many listeners and each time we do them there a bunch of good songs that din't make it to the show. However, I can promise you some brand new ideas in the next few months.
Also some of you have been asking about the A-Z of themes that we did last year and the ideas that were generated by that. I do still have all the ideas noted down in a big book and I think you are right - it is time to dip back into some of the really good ones that were suggested at the time. I'll get on to it in the next few weeks.
Wednesday's theme is all about the thing that not many of us have at this time of the year: Money. Whether it's Dirtee Cash or The Coins in a Fountain, the Bank of Bryan is open now for your suggestions

* Monty Python - The Money Song

Which version of Money (That's What I Want) are we going for? I'm rather partial to The Flying Lizards, but both the Barrett Strong original & the Beatles' version are good.
And I'd rather save The Fab Four for
* The Beatles - You Never Give Me Your Money
Asking for the full 16 minutes of medley is maybe a bit of a stretch, so happy to fade it out at the start of Sun King.
