I don't know where to begin. If this isn't some early manifestation of "grooming", I don't know. I'm only asking for it because I'm (possibly naively) assuming there were no sinister connotations intended.

I guess it's just me that thinks this is a bit off as a theme? Not that I've ever been stalked, but I once received a gift in the post that purported to be 'from an admirer' who said he 'saw me every day' It freaked the hell out of me - then transpired some days later it was a joke from a junior member of my family. I never did see the funny side, though I knew it had been done in all innocence. It was just totally creepy, more so than I'd have thought.
