Rock classics. Somehow that sounds like anything from recently won't get a look in. No doubt all the best music was made before 1979. Music hasn't stagnated even if what passes for popular today may not suit all tastes. Was it ever just about popular? Good music is remarkably resilient - there will always be pish pop, but that's no reason to disregard everything else just because .......... Cream will always float to the top. As will turds. Hey-ho.

Classic Rock!!! This is doing my head in!!! When did rock become classic rock? Is heavy metal really classic rock? What about hard rock, grunge rock? Thrash metal? is it all classic rock too? Soft rock? West Coast rock? Southern Rock, glam rock, folk rock...bet every damn bit of it's ALL classic rock these days. No wonder I cut my hair and veered off towards punk...or was it new wave..or post-punk? And what about new-fangled punk??? it's far too old to be new now...bet it's classic rock too!!! Waaaaaaa!!!!

The colour can be in the song or artist title but also any shades/derivitives or descriptives of that colour.... so

Monday: RED (crimson, rose, scarlett, lilac, pink, ginger) etc

Tuesday: YELLOW (gold, cream, blonde) etc

Wednesday: BLUE (turquoise, navy, royal)

Thursday: GREEN (emerald, grass, leaf) etc... or maybe BROWN

Friday: BLACK and WHITE (including grey)

... you get the idea!

Hello again, this is Chris from France (again). Tonight I also suggested 'Caroline' by Concrete Blonde, since some listeners remarked that there were too few female singers. I think Johnette Napoletano is (was? - I wonder if the band still exists or if they have split up) the front woman. And now I am wondering if I have got her name right. I know there is an American diplomat by the same name (LOL) but the two are certainly not related in any way...
