Prince Philip is a blast! One of my favourites is the time he was introduced to a couple at a Royal garden party. The lady pointed out to Philip that her husband was blind. "Ah!" exclaimed the Chooky Embra. "That would explain the tie!"

#37. Prince Philip met some of my work colleagues....upon hearing that one had been a chef he looked at the rather portly guy next in line and said..."And did you feed him?". I'm not much of a fan I must say though they all thought he and his insults were great! What a hoot!!!

I've not met the queen but have stood near her as she had a wee chat with folk at Edinburgh Castle...she didn't say "Helloo, aim the Queen" but she did ask "and what do you do?"...she wears too much powder but I do quite like her!

In 1974, we were at the head of a parade of 400 Scouts at Windsor and, being Scots, the nine of us wore the kilt. RaChookie stopped and asked, "and which part of the country are you from?"

It's about the jolly most awfully poshest wedding one could possibly have, so you could play a song with a posh title (like a lot of the guests) which is all about being on one's best behaviour around the time of one's nuptials...

'Lah-Di-Dah' - Jake Thackray ...it has a nice wee tune, clever lyrics and is actually quite sweet and romantic. At the very least, Scotch will enjoy it! Aaaw!
