I'm still finding the whole twitter thing quite confusing but thanks to Capt Ramius for keeping us right on the difference between a page, a feed and a stream . Do send us a tweet during the show to @bbcgetiton. I know that Henri's messages have not been reaching us on twitter so maybe the Capt could do us a bloggers guide to twitter?
Tomorrow night's theme comes from Joe the Jam man and was inspired by the last space shuttle flight. The theme is ...... ( Man, how much did I want to type the word 'space' right here!) and is finality. So as NASA winds down it's space shuttle programme we will be playing things like The Last Waltz, The End of the Line and It's Over. So, for the last time this week get on the blog with your suggestions or send us a tweet.

It's unusual for for me to have to 2nd the 12" of Say Hello, Wave Goodbye but I'm happy to do so. You have to be careful about your version though - I prefer the 91 remix from the 'Soft Cell -Memorabilia'Album - though Norrie's orginal 12" is also brilliant ( that's a soft cell track). What is not brilliant is the version that keeps on cropping up on GIO. Our hero promised to rectify this situation after playing the David Grey version about a year ago.
However, since we won't be hearing it, let me tell you about one of my favourite discoveries of recent times:
The Last Of The Melting Snow - The Leisure Society
Nick Hemming won an Ivor Novello award for this before the band even had a contract.Beautiful Mccartney melodic feel meets The Penguin Cafe Orchestra but with Lennon's lyrical ability. Awesome, gentle and refined, clever.
I've bought both of their albums 'The Sleeper' which contains the most remarkable cover version of 'Cars' and their new album 'Into the Murky Water'.
A complete joy for summer.
And now, the tweeting disaster: turns out I made the fatal msitake of wiping the bbc address from the tweet box, hence they didn't turn up at GIO. But, if you don't wipe the bbc address it only leaves you 50 characters - which for someone as verbose as me is a nightmare. So I deleted it and tweeted to myself for two days.
That said I have 100% more followers than before: so I must be doing something right!

General tip: The Twitter website isn't really the best way of doing Twitter - a number of clients are available for free or small charge from various vendors, but the official Twitter ones aren't too bad (and are free). Other clients are available.
Tomorrow's lesson: hashtags.
