One woman band...
On Friday we mark the 1948 anniversary of the US air force accepting its first female recruits by featuring the girls who have made it in a so-called boys world. From Debbie Harry to Siouxsie Sioux the theme is all about the women who are the lone female in an all male line-up.

Lost in my Mind - The Head and the Heart

So sadly that means we cant have White Stripes, the Ting Tings and Peters and Lee but thankfully it also excludes the Eurthymics and the Carpenters.

I always loved the Delgados and I have to say Emma Pollock often stole the show for me in her own modest way...if only Vic was presenting tonight ;-)
