Scotch, how many identities do you actually have?

I am in no doubt that 'pop' is a genre (style) on its own.

For me, it is characterised by a good melody line, singable lyrics and is not of any other easily or especially recognisable genre(style). Above all, it stands the test of time - i.e. when you hear it you think " I'd forgotten how great that was".

Therefore, ironically, for me, 'pop' music seldom reflects what is currently in the charts and because of the pleasure in hearing it occasionally, is probably not in your own record collection. This automatically deletes novelty records, like 'Ernie' and 'The Worzels' etc and anything to do with Xmas and anything recurringly heard on GIO. Generally speaking they should be happy and optimistic in outlook.

What you need is a Character Map. I'm not sure how to set it up. Gaie supplied the link, and my flatmate installed it.

It gives you the option of approx. 160 different typefaces, and you cut & paste the characters you wish to use.
