Album Cover Caption Competition...
See this? This is the artwork for 'Puzzle', the new album by Biffy Clyro. Or Biffy Clyroid, as I can't seem to stop calling them. It just sounds like the kind of medical condition old people get, doesn't it? You can picture an elderly grandparent claiming not to be able to take a young child to the park today because "my biffy clyroid is playing up again...", can't you?
Just me then...ANYWAY, this is their new album cover. And as you can see, it's a picture which is crying out for a comedy caption. Something along the lines of "Well, guess I'd better pull myself together and get dressed", or "The moment first Kevin realised he was falling to pieces" or my favourite... "The worst stag night prank in history"...
And this set me thinking. How many other of today's modern album covers could be mildly satirised in caption form? And then I looked at some of the album covers which are around at the moment and I realised that practically ALL of them can. What fun!
Take 'Volta' by Bjork. This is a picture which demands someone to write "Lollipop, anyone?" underneath it.
Or "Every day is like sundae".
Or "Beware Of Bjorky Wjorky, The Giant Tjeletjubby".
Or "Hair by Nicky Clarke, Clothes By Cadburys", or, y'know...something funny..
So, here's where you lot get to get a bit creative for a change and allow me some time to fend off furious McFly fans and stuff. I'm gonna put up a selection of album covers, and what you have to do is come up with the best sardonic caption for them possible. I've added some suggestions to get the old mental juices flowing, and the best ones will win an enormous pile of respect. Hand-wrapped by your favourite pop star and delivered to your home by magic gnomes. That's the kind of love I have for ya!

theres one that me, my sis and 2 cousins shared which was at my grandparents house, but as far as i remember it was my mums and aunts so it was already destroyed! the destroying bit was way more fun then the make-up bit though, well, the continuing of destruction...i can remeber watching my sis give her dolls hair cuts aswell..ever seen a bald barbie? well, bald would be better than what this looked like! :P

the best thunderstorm iv been in was in spain. it had been really hot in the day so it was obviously caused by all the convection but it was amazing! it was like a bomb going off in your back garden, but the problem was that two of my friends i was staying with were pettrified :S

Best thunderstorms ever in Florida in summer. Just as the day gets so hot you think you're going to collapse the sky tears itself into pieces and the rain falls in TORRENTS. And then afterwards it's still warm enough that you dry off really fast.. love it!
im not a fan of the hot weather....i think im the only person who does but i like the cool temperate western margins climate! to all you non-geography people thats english weather. ok, im ready for it, call me wierd if you must :P
