WHAT NUMBER THE KARMA POLICE SO I CAN RUN A CHECK

Chris Evans | 16:39 UK time, Friday, 14 March 2008

Love what I've just heard or in fact read...

...Hang on a minute the bad karma can be a hangover from a former life. How is that my fault ?

Alright what if I was some manical despot from another time, I'm a d.j. now, surely that is punishment enough. Ha ha.

Sickly car gone away to the car hospital today. I shall miss you car. In another car today, not the same. Different.

Going to the rugby tomorrow with a crazy Irish man, nmo honetly, really crazy. This may well be the last time I communicate with you. England - Ireland at Twickenham on the "all new" St. Patrick's day...what a way to go.

A second wave of lurgy is descending over the office, see if you can hear it in our voices the next time you tune in.

CLP.

2008.

P.S. Everyone has to listen again to Paul Jones' interview with Van Morrison, it was captivating.

Chris, I hope this gets through!!! Yes karma can be carried over, but that means good karma too! You weren't in the car, you weren't hurt in any way (apart from the wallet which can take it!) ... you have created tons of good karma over the past couple of years and made millions of people laugh every day - take the car accident as a good thing, not as a bad one!!

Debbie: Its heartbreaking, isn't it? I've worked for charities for many years. Save the Children are one of the charities who spend the least on administration - most of what you give actually goes to the children they help. And you can specify where you want your donation spent.

These days you have to sit through 7 or more pages on film channels.....WHY? I watched 5th element tonight - great film but had 5 minutes of credits at the end...

CLP - Sorry don't know name of the Karma ploice but certainly know the number of London City ploice - know what am sayin'!!!!!

Ave got up ere ter watch this F1 season opener, live from down under.

It's gonna be a great F1 year, what with the traction control banned it means yer gonna see more driver skill involved so the best drivers will shine more so.
Plus more cars will spin off when braking or excellerating, especially in the wet - so will make for more of a spectacle!!!!!!

Still sure Lewis 'amilton will be champ this year.

Prediction for the Aussie race - Lewis 'amilton 1st, 2nd Kovalainen, 3rd Massa, 4th Webber & Fisichella in 7th!!!!!

PS Ron Dennis 'as announced that 'e was thinking of leaving McLaren but now says 'e's changed 'is mind & wants to carry on managing McLaren!!!!!!

Should be a really good season with more races & a night race too!!!!!!

    Chow!

Got through Friday ok, probably - no definately - the hardest thing I've ever had to do. It was a beautiful service, the sun was out too which after the week we'd had was brilliant.

Saw my surgeon last week, I'm having both knees operated on at the same time in mid-April. Is that a light I see at the end of the tunnel???

Not sure aboyt this whole Karma thing anymore, my ex-wife was a non-smokiing, church going, occasional drinking all round good egg....

...can't see the karma in her early exit???

Anyway, have a great week everyone, Gavin & Stacey is back on tonight and I can't wait

    Evenin' all.

Now then. All this Karma stuff.

Back from hurricane-torn Edinburgh, I had to make a mid-week dash down to Coventry. Just in time to get evacuated due to the discovery of an unexploded WW2 bomb. Car stranded on city-centre car park, clothes stranded in city-centre hotel. Bugger.

What the *** did I do to deserve this, I thought, ragin'. After all, if the ruddy thing's bin dropped outa plane and survived the intervening 60 years of building works, a motorway and a fire, I'd say the thing's a dud wouldn't you.

However, all was well; I ended up in the pub with the rest of the hotel evacuees, an osteopath, a vet, an IT girl, an author, a pharmaceutical rep and a fitness trainer, where we narrowly missed victory in the pub quiz before wobbling back to our bunker in the early hours to watch said whopper get detonated. Ba-boom.

Marvellous. Every cloud and all that.

    And then.

I've just paid a fortune for a lovely new shiny black patent bag. Mincin' around delightedly with said bag on me shoulder, poutin' like a mad mullet and thinkin' what a BABE I was, the handle fell off and me filofax, the size and weight of a house-brick, landed end-on on me toe. Ow ow ow.

The last black bag I ordered came through the wrong colour and the one before that never arrived at all.

Now the daughter has reminded me that my astrologer friend, who is big into past-life stuff, informed me that I was a witch in a previous incarnation and met a sticky end on the business end of the duckin' stool.

Therefore I am satisfied that this is why I don't trust swimming pools and am not so fond of duckin' for apples or see-saws; and it is now obvious that I must have carried me bat's ear, excised wart and turkey gizzard in a black bag.

So I'll be stickin' to me leopard-print bus-conductress style satchel. It'll be easier to manouver with me crutches.

Ooo right am off. Skatin's on. Ooo I love the ice-skatin', and am MAD jealous, I'd LOVE to do that.

I'd be crap, mind; but boy would I scrub up in the frock. Eeee look at that; what would I give to get hoisted up on them wires in a twizzy frock and 'alf a ton of iron filin's in me hair, hurrah.

Greetings Ter CLP & ALL In This Area,

    Bingo Star ere,

Or for this week only.... Bingow Starre!!!!!!

Yes, I read yesterdees Sundee Express on the advice of Johnnie Walker ('ope ave spelt 'is name right) that the female voices of R2 ave goot a special article in the paper - so I bought it.
Nice ter see what Bobbie Pryor looks like at last, ter... ter put a face ter the voice!
Only problem, ave been spelling 'er name wrong for ages now - I used ter write Bobby Prior, Lyn Bowls, Johnny Walker & Stuart Marconie!
So as a way of 'pologising ter all am gonna spell me name wrong for the whole of this damn week..... a sort of self 'arm, self punishment for my insulance, inaccurracy (ave I spelt inaccurracey accurately?) inappropriate spelling.
I suppose yer gonna tell me I was right & the Sundee Express.... 'as spelt em wrong!!!!!!!

Interesting article though, female voices of R2!

F1 - I'd ust like ter 'pologise too for putting bad luck on all of the drivers I predicited ter do well in yesterdees Aussie GP - All failed ter result good except Lewis 'amilton.
As for Fisi, 'e didn't come my predicted 7th. Although only 7 cars finished so if 'e'd kept outta trouble, like 'e usually does, 'e could ave plodded 'ome in 6th or 7th very comfortartably!!!!

Sadly 'e did score four 1st places yesterdee.... In the 1st race, on the 1st lap, at the 1st corner, 'e became the very 1st driver of 2008 ter retire from a race!!!!
Fisi was innocently knocked out by a 'kamkazi' as 'e put it.
A kamakazi nutter who got 'is braking all wrong in my opinion!!!!!!!!!!

The emense power of this year's F1 cars & with the removal of traction control, is making them very, very difficult ter drive with ultimate driver skill needed - 'ence yesterdee so many getting their braking & accelerating badly wrong!
Any of us ordinary drivers, if we 'ad a go we'd just spin off powering outta the corners or snatch the baby brakin inter a corner within one lap - as Kimi did yesterdee a couple of times!
Notice though Lewis 'amilton drove an amazingly clean race - 'e's got some talent!!!!!

A tell yer if we get a wet race - which we will - yer will be lucky ter see 4 cars finish.... it's gonna be a crazy F1 year of.... of..... DRAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    'ope this 'elps!

    Chow!

Isn't it time the press, websites, etc, stopped publishing pictures of the wee Shannon girl. She's gone through enough and surely deserves to have her privacy instigated again.

Let her become as much of a child, and an anonymous child at that, as she possible can.

Come on press peeps show some integrity.

There is certainly something spooky going on around us. Have loads of examples with my mother being the 7th child of a 7th child - I think some of it may have rubbed off on me.

Example - I definitely saw my mother (deceased) when I took to my bed with the big C she was standing outside the lounge window.
Couple of days later when I was being carted in to an ambulance with the couple of pints of blood I had left in my body, I saw next door neighbour standing on his doorstep except he had moved 6 months previously and died 2 after that!

Happier notes - big fan of F1 love Kimi but he's not too good without traction control is he. Expect to see more of Rubens and Jens as they are much steadier drivers and of course Lewis.

Looks like we are in for a white Easter! My bolt hole allows real fires so will be toasting my toes with a large glass of red - hopefully.
