Surprise Surprise It's Moyles Here
Hello Blog readers. It’s your friendly radio host Chris Moyles here.
Now as much as I LOVE the idea of these blogs, in fact I am quite insistent that the team update them daily, I myself can never be bothered to write them. It’s laziness sure, but I do have other things to do with my time, such as drinking tea and playing X-Box. Which by the way I haven’t played for a while as my internet access at home is a bit dodgy so I’ve been missing my geeky game play recently.
Mon surprise birthday weekend du Paris
Goodness it's been a week never to be forgotten!! In my last blog you will be aware that I was planning a picnic, pimms a clock style, in a park somewhere to celebrate my hmmm*** birthday.
Well I had arranged with all my pals to meet about 2 ish..But little did I know that a certain Major Tom had gone behind my back and organised something entirely different!!...
Its my birthday...gonna party like its my birthday
Its been quite a week...Engaged and now its my birthday!!! Wahay!! Well not technically just yet as its actually on Sunday - the official one although quite frankly I am going to celebrate it on Friday and Saturday too!!
I had some fantastic birthday messages on the show today, Claire Balding, The Queen, Lewis Hamilton, Some Army Boys, Trinny and Susannah, and of course Jose Mourinho and Frank Lampard...(well actually Dom, Dave and Chris doing hilarious impressions) Lewis and Claire were real of course!!
Folking Good Singing.
Hello Blog Readers.
This morning Dom & Dave gave a somewhat amazing performance as their alter-ego FOLK FACE.
Folk Face were helping us giveaway a pair of tickets to Glastonbury and they really, really got into the act. I thought it'd be damn well rude not to share this bit of video with you.
Chris is amazing (and other things)
Hi I'm Kate, you won't know me but I'm helping out on the show this week while Rachel is knee deep in Glastonbury preparations...
Soon to be wed.
Well what a weekend, I was expecting trouping the colour and the London to Brighton bike ride, but not the other thing that happened, Captain underpants decided to surprise me late Friday afternoon with a marriage proposal! Oh and Chris showing us all the Numa video this morning.
The Queen and Sore Bottoms
Hey there bloggers and blogettes - I've managed to skive blog duties for a while but I couldn't escape the hot seat today what with sore bottoms and walking like John Wayne and all..I know not why but for some reason I let Captain Carrie talk me into the London to Brighton Cycle Ride for the British Heart Foundation..its about 56 miles..I have done it before and I know that there are two absolute nightmare hills..One is really tight in a country lane and you get caught up between people walking (ie me) and those really fit types who like to show off cycling as fast as they can all the way up it and shouting at those who walk it!!
You can call me Al
Hello Bloggerloggers -
Hope everyone is well and happy. The last time I interviewed Sir Alan Sugar on the show you'd think I'd shot his dog! Didn't like me very much and as a result was a rubbish interview. BUT….
James Nesbitt's on tomorrow
Hello fans-of-The Chris Moyles Show blog
Just a quickie today.
Sorry for the lack of video or audio blogs recently. We’re all agreed in the studio that we should only really do these when there’s something worth showing, and in typical swings and roundabouts fashion we haven’t had the most visual of shows recently.
I plan on changing this soon though. I have my moby with me in the studio, and if I see anything that might be quite funny I’ll stick it on here.
Spiderman and the Caravan
Hello bloggerloggers,
On the show this morning - we were discussing the fact I read my son a Spiderman story before bed every night. He will choose the name of it and I will then use my skill and grasp of language to make up a riveting yarn. However - this came into question this morning...
Jo Whiley does not look like Tracy
hello there bloggers, I am back at work. For those of you who listen to the show you might have heard Chris saying I've been off sick. Had a very nasty bout of a weird thing called Labarinythitis. It was the weirdest week of my life....it basically makes you very dizzy and fall over a lot. I thought I'd finally lost the plot and the Chris Moyles Show had tipped over the edge!!! Thankfully it hadn't. Also everyone kept saying I was pregnant...thankfully I'm not that either! I am now on the road to recovery and working hard. Due to my 'condition' though Aled is manning the show and doing the early producing. He has the joy for the next few weeks of getting up early.
The Total from The Chris Moyles Rallyoke
Day 4 of being the stand-in show producer and what a week it’s been!!!
Katie Price got turned away for being late, we learnt more things about the team (like Chris dances naked in his flat when he’s on his own) and we found out that 1.14 million requests were made for our podcast in May – but only 984,000 of them made it through the download.
We’ve also been given an updated total figure for this year’s Chris Moyles Rallyoke! This was when we sang our way around the UK all in the name of charidee. (Enter Aled the Statman!)
A message from Comedy Dave
Dear Webfriends,
Dave here, back with another one of those blog writing treats.
It’s currently night time and I’m legally and contractually required to tell you about my day today, so here goes.
Got up (early) and did the show which was nice. Then all of us from the show, except Rachel (injured), Chris (double booked) and Carrie (interviewing Michael Vaughan from Cricket) went to a swanky private screening of the new Ocean’s 13 film, which was very cool. We decided to bolster the strength of our crew by inviting JK and Joel and Vernon’s producer Neil to join me, Dom and Aled for what turned out to be a bit of a boys outing. In terms of all the Barry Norman stuff, we collectively enjoyed the film and thought it was good. I’m personally making it my ‘film choice of the week’, and I’d advice you to see it when it comes to your local cinema sometime in the near future.
Hayfever news for hayfever people
Hi there bloggerloggers. If you were listening to this morning's show you will have heard our brand new feature entitled 'Hayfever News'.
This was a ground-breaking attempt at delivering interesting hayfever-based news about pollen counts and stuff to people who suffer from said affliction...
The Monday Morning Project
Hey bloggers
Continuing Chris' slow take-over of all Channel 4 programmes Chis' appearance on this week's Friday Night Project meant that wonderfully camp Alan Carr and funny pirate Justin Lee Collins came in this morning to work behind the scenes.
Not people known for blending into the background, sure enough it wasn't long before they took over. The last straw was Justin challenging Carrie over her sport bulletin and Alan upgrading his tea making and breakfast fetching duties to getting his own imaginary chopper and conducting a fake traffic report item! It was clear things weren't going to work and Chris and I fired them and sent them back to Channel 4 studios.
Their brief ´óÏó´«Ã½ career divided our audience this morning. I'd be very keen to know actually, did you enjoy their visit or not? Go to Listen Again, choose Monday's show and let me know what you think!!
Becks, Blonde and Bathrooms
Hey you lot! Its been a while so its my turn to offer up a written blog for a change!
And there have been a few changes in the world - Becks is back for England tonight - very exciting, he's gone really blonde and I have now returned to my original blonde state (more or less) brunette was fun but blonde suits my personality..(cue the dizzy...thick jokes)..And I'm having my bathroom done which is quite an upheaval in any girls life!!!
