Miranda wishes you a Merry Christmas
Haaaaappppyyyy Chhrriiissstmassss!Ìý I LOVE Christmas. Can't get enough of mulled wine, a roaring fire, fairy lights, mince pies, even ice skating. I'm quite good - I can even go backwards. Oh yes, you heard it here first.
So, I was thrilled to be able to write a Christmas episode. It was like we had our own Christmas when we filmed it. Although I did film one scene on location outside of the studios on a very hot day in September and did not enjoy wearing a thick jumper, hat and scarf. If you so desire, you can look closely at the scene of me in the post office and there is definitely a very sweaty upper lip area. I know - sexy. Hello boys!

So I've gone all out and gone very Christmassy on the episode - there's singing, there's Christmas jumpers, there's presents, there's a hunky guest actor... it's got it all, and we meet my sitcom father for the first time.
And as this is the final episode I will now bid you adieu. Thanks so much for watching and your support - it means a lot.Ìý I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and Happy Happy New Year. Here's to a fab 2011 all round!
Love Miranda x

The fruit friends, turning the shower on in the bath and it spraying everywhere..... I just do silly things like try and break up peas into the pan by sqeezing them hard and surprizingly enough they went pinging round the kitching.... and dropping cheese in my coffee.... you know, like you do!!!

One gripe - how could you build up so much anticipation around Miranda and Gary then just let it all deflate like that?
He ran across the road in his dressing gown because he was desperate to kiss her, she can barely look at him without falling over... and now, nothing? They spend a chaste Christmas eve in bed together... sleeping? Come on!
Chekhov said there's a rule of drama that goes something like if there's a gun on the mantelpiece in Act 1, it should have been fired by Act 3.
In the same vein, I say if you use Marvin Gaye's 'Let's Get it On' as the soundtrack to a romantic storyline, you've got to follow through, my friend!

It's had me in stitches (and actually crying with laughter on occasion) every week; but how could you leave your MILLIONS (good girlie!!) of fans hanging like that with such a slumpy end-of-series Miranda-Gary-chummy-hugathon?? It wasn't believeable and I was SO disappointed not to see them get together, as I'm sure were most of the viewers. There's got to be some excellent comedy mileage in seeing how Miranda tries to cope with Gary as a boyfriend, and I can't understand the decision not to end it that way after all the build up. It's starting to get me annoyed rather than keeping me on my toes and wanting to see more. I hope your third series will do the storyline justice! Congrats again though on a superb programme in every other way!!

I don't know which parts are autobiographical and which parts aren't, but all of it is brilliant, and pure genius!! But most of all, thank you for giving me the strength to be myself!!
For instance, the falling down thing, is that just for the show or is it real? Because well, i try and stay as far away from the door handle whenever i go through one, but i'll always manage to hook some of my clothing on it and well...let's just say i've a great many lovely pairs of trousers that are all torn at the waist band, horizontally.....so yeh!
Perhaps i should replace all my door handles with knobs! (oo-er!)
