Saturday's mouth-watering Champions League final between Manchester United and Barcelona is only a couple of days away.

Ahead of the game at Wembley, we've asked Football Focus pundits Mark Lawrenson and Lee Dixon to pick Sir Alex Ferguson's best-ever United side.

They've debated the defence and midfield. Now it's the forward line.

So who did they select? Well, they could have gone for Ruud van Nistelrooy, Dwight Yorke, Andy Cole, Teddy Sheringham or Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

But Lawro and Dixon both opted for Eric Cantona and Wayne Rooney. The right choice?

As we close in on Saturday's Champions League final between Manchester United and Barcelona at Wembley, we've asked Football Focus pundits Mark Lawrenson and Lee Dixon to pick Sir Alex Ferguson's best-ever United side.

The debate kicked off on Tuesday with the defence. Both Lawro and Dixon went for Peter Schmeichel over Edwin Van der Sar in goal but they couldn't agree on the back four. Lawro opted for Denis Irwin, Steve Bruce, Gary Pallister and Patrice Evra, while Dixon went for Gary Neville, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic and Irwin.

So what about the midfield? Plenty of options here: Paul Scholes, Roy Keane, David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, Bryan Robson, Ryan Giggs, Eric Cantona. Surprisingly, Lawro and Dixon were in complete agreement.

Well. That's another season over. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has read the blogs, sent e-mails, tweets and letters, plus, most importantly, We've had our best audiences in a decade and we have been trying to push the boundaries of what has always been a great show.

We are already planning bigger and better things ahead of our move to Salford and will hopefully get you lot a bit more involved next season as well.

Roman Pavlyuchenko's last-minute winner gave Lord Sugar a vital correct score and three points. But then Arsenal's Theo Walcott spoiled his dreams with an equaliser against Fulham. The goal denied Lord Sugar another correct score, handing victory to Campbell, the former Labour spin doctor.

As for Saturday, I'm still recovering from the sight of Mark Lawrenson was seriously spooked, too. I have to admit that it was slightly disturbing when the guys from Madame Tussauds in Blackpool arrived with a body bag and a box with the words "Alan Shearer's Head" written on it!

When I used to watch play for Bolton he was always a tasty player. When I played against him in a five-a-side tournament in Manchester he was like Messi, Ronaldo & Xavi all rolled into one to me.

A goalscoring dynamo, with seemingly more than two legs - each of which moved like in a hurry. He was effortlessly brilliant and reminded the rest of us how distinctly average we were.

I have been asked by at least six people this week why I have not blogged for the past fortnight. One of them added that they "don't actually read it" but that is still five people who have missed it.

I would like to say the reason for its absence is down to some sort of -style mission in Peru. But, it is actually because I have been moving house. Anyone who has young kids knows that even jobs like changing a bin bag can take on epic proportions, so shifting all your possessions is a monster process.

I hope you enjoyed last week's live show from Loftus Road, where It is very rare that you get to break a huge story like that and even rarer to be in the perfect place to do it.
