Greenacre update
Hi All
This week I went down to Greenacre to take some pictures to share with you all. Greenacre is looking extremely beautiful at the moment and considering it's only five months old the progress is breathtaking. Transforming a bare patch of land into a creative space has been an exciting challenge for Toby and the team, but from the pictures below I'm sure you'll agree they are succeeding.
So let's start with one of my favourite parts of the garden which is the spicy bedding that leads up to the greenhouse borders:
The bright orange marigolds sit so beautifully next to the silver cineraria and red petunias.
Another stunning border is in the twilight garden where the Lychnis coronaria 'Alba' has just started to flower:
The Gourmet Garden is also coming along nicely and some of our top crops include the Kenilworth and Gardeners' Delight tomatoes, the Popcorn Red Strawberry sweetcorn and the Tendergreen dwarf French beans.
We've also had lots of crops in our City Veg Garden; the most productive vegetables so far include the Koala French Beans, the Ambassador Peas and the Gladiator parsnips. Our salad bed is also doing extremely well and we've had good crops from the radish, rocket and spinach.
How are all your gardens doing? Are your plants and flowers at their exuberant best? Have you had a wealth of crops from your fruit and veg too?
