Seeing as 720,000 people will be "affected" by this change, you have to wonder why there were not more.
Could it be that not all are as narrow minded as come Cornish nationalists?

One is it shows how devious you nationalists are.
Two it just goes to highlight the fact that people were not taken in by the nationalist claims that this was anything to do with changing the borders of Cornwall, as so few turned out.
The people you list above were very careful not to make any reference to "changing the border of Cornwall" in their speeches, were they not Paddy?
The people I call "narrow minded nationalists" were the sort of people who actually heckled some of the speakers you name there/ We all know who did that don't we.
Were you actually there Paddy?

I am sorry the sarcasm seems to be lost on you.
The point I was making, was that this is a cross party campaign, and not, as some would attempt to portray it as, a nationalist one. As many of the speakers there yesterday made a point of saying.
Yes, I was there. Were you?
Who else spoke?
I also know that no-one I have spoken to thinks that changing the electoral boundaries is actually changing the border, but all agree that it is a weakening of the border, a back door step towards changing it. It is the erosion of the border, the significance of the border, that is being protested against.

The vast majority from devon yet the one thing you can not see or hear is anyone from devon just the extremists from the west who are not affected by this. The press are now allowing them to form an imaginary barrier at the Tamar even though it use as county line is very recent
That鈥檚 the problem with modern day press allowing the fringe to invent things, like the amount of people who attended and forgetting Cawsand and Kingsand as the former county line.

There has also been a list of those who support this campaign posted elsewhere on this blog, a list that was a direct copy and paste from the website :- and, again, I am sure that those supporters will appreciate your opinion of them.
You might not agree with the aims of, or reasons for, this campaign, but your continued insistence that those connected with it are all extremists is denying reality, offensive, and is actually a display of your extremist opinions.
Time to get your head out of the sand Mr. Tregantle. This is Cornwall, and a lot of people are proud of it, even if you're not.
This is Cornwall, and a lot of people want to protect it and see it flourish, even if you do not.

Exactly, this has nothing to do with what is taking in Saltash. If you look at the botton right hand side of that nutters page you will see a sign stating penzance to saltash 9.50 return on the train.
That is where the nutters are. Confirmed by the page you linked here. But as usual you are ignoring the core of my Comment, nowhere is anyone from Devon moaning just the nutters from down Penzance way

1/ No website "feeds" me.
2/ To define "nutters", I suggest you look in a mirror.
3/ Playing around with my name is just childish.
4/ Just because you disagree with the comments left there, does not mean that the writers are "nutters".
5/ I live in Cornwall
6/ I do not live in Penzance
7/ This issue effects Cornwall as a whole, Saltash is, for now, the centre of the campaign.
8/ Your "point" regarding the cost of the train fare, is completely irrelevant.
9/ I am not "ignoring the core of my Comment", it is being obscured by the insult and abuse that you seem incapable of communicating without.
10/ This campaign is not about Devon, but about Cornwall. However, there are a vast number of other campaigns, throughout the UK that are addressing the effects that the proposed legislation will have on their areas, and there is mutual support amongst them. You claim that there are no complaints from Devon, but equally, I see no organised support for it either.
11/ It has to be pointed out that if, as you are implying, this has nothing to do with people from "Penzance", and only those from Saltash, why are you so concerned, and what has it got to do with people from Devon, a group of people that include those living not just in Plymouth, but Exeter, Paignton, Barnstable, etc, none of whom, according to your logic, are effected in this in any way. Your argument is full of holes.
12/ As I have said elsewhere, it is high time you made up your mind just who is "behind" all this, the "nutters from down Penzance way", "Chavs from the local council estate" or the friends of the concerned MPs. Or is it a case of you just not liking anyone.

People affected by the changes (EAST CORNWALL) can protest but people living in the deep west are not going to have foreign blood mixed with the pure Cornish blood, even for a vote, so why travel up to Saltash?
The answers is the blood not a vote, which has nothing to do with the motivation of the protest and never once mentioned by the MPs, the nats had to find an excuse to pretend to have popular support when in fact they failed, I am not going to respond to the rest of tremmys splurge and attempt to give it meaning until he learns how to respond or make comments in a more adult manner after properly reading what people have said and stop posting propaganda thinking it is a reliable source, he clearly does not know the meaning of unbiased

I know what "unbiased" means, from the look of your post above, you clearly do not. I have added the definitions of a few more words that you seem to either not now the meaning of, or do not care.
"Offense" = a lack of politeness; a failure to show regard for others; wounding the feelings or others.
"Abuse" = to assail with contemptuous, coarse, or insulting words; revile.
"Insult" = to treat with gross insensitivity, insolence, or contemptuous rudeness; to give offense; offend.
"Childish" = in the manner of, belonging to, or suitable to a child; foolish or petty; puerile.
Your post above is highly insulting, it contains insinuations that are plain disgusting and despicable, and is loathsome in the extreme. Why the 大象传媒 allows you to post such bigotry is beyond me.
You have no wish to debate or discuss the issues, just peddle your gospel of hate wherever you can get away with it. You disgust me.

Until the proposed cuts are known, it is difficult to target any protest.
However, it seems that there is no other choice but to cut, at least the council are giving people, including politicians and "chubby Celts" the opportunity to offer their opinions as to where they should fall. It remains to be seen how much notice will be taken.
I hazard a guess that there will be strong support for a reduction in the salaries of some of the higher ranks of Council employees.

The two key points are this action to lower the number of MPs has been hijacked by the nationalists and the Cornish MP's concerned. The MPs have walked a line which has alienated them from being able to stand should the borders change. Thus for them this is all or nothing, or as I call it call a friend
