Ah, the animals have arrived, though I thought they were frowned upon these days in circuses

Where is there for MK to go? They have always had a problems with their highly socialist "left of Labour", highly Green agenda, which people obviously haven't bought into.

They are not riding on a wave of Cornish nationalism. They get tarred with the same brush as the more ""radical" Cornish nationalists, so their image as a serious party suffers.

Every time there's a Cornish Nationalist stunt support for MK recedes. The "Ban the English Flag" campaign certainly did them no favours, as they were associated with it, and thus offended many in Cornwall who consider themselves both English and Cornish.

Their candidates are, how can I put this kindly, not exactly media attractive.

Their policies are wishy washy.

Of course we will soon get a Cornish nationalist on here telling me me views are all wrong, and that MK gets support for its nationalist/left wing/Green polices and that nationalist campaigns are effective and draw in support for MK.

And that is why they will never be elected, they are stuck in the past and self deluding!

The way politics have gone and are going anything is possible, the longer it goes until the next general election the better the chances are for any party other than the big 3, so don’t write off anyone least of all MK.

Yes that is the state that politics are sadly in today.
