Isn't it strange how people react when we get a bit of rain.
We've had a few down pours this week but then again it's September and we live on an island! John from Cam took a fairly innocuous photo of a puddle near his home and before he knew it the whole world wanted it and his story of mass floods!
At the end of a long day being phoned by media outlet around the UK...his photo ended up on Al Jeezera TV with former ´óÏó´«Ã½ Points West Weather man Richard Angwin!
When is it ok to be fake?
We've been talking this week about the fake grass that could be coming to the green banks by the river Windrush in Bourton on the Water.
When I built my pond in the wild flower garden at Cummings Towers I was advised to go for a fibre glass water fall. Once the grass and flowers grow in the spring you can't spot it...plus a few real stones and some naturally occurring moss helps cover my terrible secret.
So is it ok for have a fake waterfall in a natural wild garden? Please email me your water fall photos and we will try and guess if they are real or fake...cummings@bbc.co.uk
Here is the waterfall in my beloved wild flower garden. Tune in this Wednesday to hear why it has caused me so much angst!
This is a dad and daughter shot with a difference.
Anna Love has joined the team while Claire Carter looks after the Afternoon Show for the next 6 months. Anna's dad Gerald grew up in Lydney and she took him back to his old childhood haunts.
He played rugby for Lydney second team and acquired a wonderful nick name because of his massive afro hair. It made him look like a Toby Jug and has been known as "Jugsy Love" ever since!
Here is my electric run around for the next few days.
Tune in to see how I get on!
