Thanks for the review Murray really enjoy them. Sorry to repeat myself but make sure you pressure the ´óÏó´«Ã½ to let you commentate at Silverstone....thanks.

Good point about the Red Bull cars not having a diffuser. Ferrari haven't even got the best car without the double diffuser; they can't claim to be a victim of the rules at all.

I've got to say, these short videos have been a wonderful surprise and are definitely my favourite feature of the ´óÏó´«Ã½'s F1 coverage. Murray still has the knowledge and the enthusiasm to make his points in a brilliantly entertaining way. Thank you to the ´óÏó´«Ã½, and of course to Murray, for this.

As Alex (Post 4) has also pointed out, Murray is quite right to insinuate that Ferrari's complaints about the diffusers is simply a poor excuse for the fact that they've designed a bad car. Red Bull are proof that you can challenge without one, while Williams (although they have shown the odd burst of promise) are unfortunately demonstrating that having one is no guarantee of success either.

    Murray,
6 minutes and 18 minutes of absolute Gold. Even fair comments on under-fire Piquet and the recognition of Button as a class act.what you need now is 53 minutes and 42 seconds of extra viewing on a weekly motor racing discussion/forum on the Beeb.
    I salute you Sir!

"...a lot of variety and a lot of unpredictably still to come..."
Oh Murray you do make me chuckle. Keep up the good work and maybe wrestle the old mic away from Legard for Silverstone? Would be great to hear the classic "GO GO GO" again!!

These little video blogs are brilliant, and it is fantastic to still have the legendary murray in our F1 lives! Keep them coming! And i agree with 7, try and get in on some silverstone commentary, would be simply amazing!

Enjoyed the review, spot on. Can't wait for the next race - I suspect that LH will be pushing very hard for the podium and maybe the win with the updates that should be available.

Friday practice should be very interesting.

    Excellent review Murray.

I really enjoyed the race the 1st couple of laps were intense and it was good to see a clean, more straight forward GP.

Fantastic to hear Murray again, there has never been any sports commentator to match his enthusiasm, knowledge and humour.
He is responsible for getting me hooked on F1 nearly 30 years ago.

Agree with all the comments about getting Murray back in the box for Silverstone but why not add a couple of European races as well ?
Sorry to say but John Legard is simply not up to the job.

  • Comment number 17.
