My Belgian Grand Prix moments

Post categories:

What a weekend at Spa! It was fantastic to see such an exciting and absorbing race.
We had Ferrari's first win of the season, Jenson Button's continuing efforts to let others cut his world-title lead - and their refusal to accept the chance. We had all this and more in Belgium - and that's without mentioning the fairytale of Fisichella and Force India.
All this and more features in my Belgian Grand Prix moments, click on the video below to watch and let me know your thoughts.

    hi murray,
always a pleasure to watch your video blogs, i read else where a question on wheather going on the outside of the first corner (kimi, button) would be considered an unfair advantage if done on purpose as opposed to avoiding a collision and thought i'd ask the voice (YOU), thanks, hope you are well

Great video again Murray! Keep them coming!

    Hi Murray,

What do you think of the decision to make Bahrain the opening race next year instead of Melbourne?

I'd say the race was dull. Come back Murray. Wake up commentators and make everything a big deal. The results weren't boring though and if Button carries on with the same amount of points loss he has so far (2 per race to the nearest challenger) he'll win the championship with six points to whoever's nearest. I think Button will be revived, so many champions have faltered and finally get a DNF but they return strongly.

Do you think that Force India and more specifically BMW can maintain their impressive results from Spa? Or do you think either of the teams are just on a Toyota like roller coaster?

How come Kimi wasn't penalized by going off the track at the start of the race and overtaking by doing so?

    Thanks Murray!

Another question for consideration on the next video update.

Do you think that Renault and BMW were right to drop KERS or should they have stuck with it like McLaren and Ferrari? After all the fundamental design of their cars included these weights. It seems that both McLaren and Ferrari have understood the strengths of the system and have worked solidly to minimize the weaknesses.

    Hi Murray

How do you rate Force India's chances of being a consistent front runner now they have claimed a podium?

    Hi Murray,

Loving your work and can't wait for Italy! Quick fact for you, Jenson Button now only needs twenty points to become world champion, so in other words, two wins and it's his, despite his failures to win since Turkey in June. So, my question to you is this...

Does Jenson Button, despite his recent failures, have the car, the skill and the nerve to become Britain's second consecutive world driver's champion?

    See you in Italy!

    Sean
