G20 is almost upon us.
President Sarkozy has threatened to walk out of the G20 summit if it does not pass some tangible measures. His foreign minister has today, saying that the French won't sign the communiqué if it is vacuous. What lies behind the stance of the big Eurozone powers? And could they really march, Greta Garbo style, out of the ExCel centre? Jeremy has just interviewed outspoken German finance minister, Peer Steinbruck. He was, as always, outspoken but told us it was "not very likely" that the Germans would follow President Sarkozy into the flouncing out lobby in Docklands.
