in the centre of this chocolate-box village, where raucous celebrations have followed Paul Nicholls' biggest career successes in National Hunt racing, is easy enough to find.

But where are the stables that famously house and , the brilliant 10-year-old geldings who between them have carried off the Gold Cup in each of the past three years?

You wander up a gently meandering lane, past a fine Victorian gothic church and negotiate a few more twists and turns, and there it is - , situated surprisingly close to the road that would, if you were so inclined, lead you towards the site of the Glastonbury Music Festival.
