The podcast is ready and waiting for you to take a listen. This week Rhod and I donned our capes and masks to talk about comics online as Marvel celebrates its 70th anniversary.

If we mentioned a place that you would like to visit online, then you can find all the links right here:

marvel.jpgThe comic publishing house Marvel is 70 years old this week. With a huge back catalogue to be viewed digitally and much to do online, the company is managing to remain fresh by engaging fans through modern means. Executive editor and site blogger took a moment to talk about the inky history and the pixellated future.

major.jpgSites for fans are a great place to learn more about the genre and discuss the latest episodes of our favourite caped crusaders and super villains. Stephen Schleicher is the executive producer of the website where fans chat about their collections and more.

comixology.jpgIf you like your comics to be portable, you might enjoy reading them in digital form on a mobile phone or ipod. David Steinberger of works out ways to make panels less painful on a small screen.

If you are made for pod casts and comics, you will love podcast. Chris and Eugene who make the show are funny, totally know their comics and get some great artists and writers on board to talk to them so drop by and give them a listen.

You may want to be a grown up to listen as there are some adult themes and of course that goes for some of the comics you may find online. People are certainly creative but make sure you look out for the difference between adult and kids comics.

1001.jpgOn a different note but certainly as creative, Brian Singer of took a moment to talk about the vast array of art and diary intrigue he has uploaded to his site each day.

If you have seen a blog or heard a podcast that you think we should know about, drop me a line at podsandblogs -at- bbc.co.uk I'd love to hear from you. Or you can follow us on .

jk Back next week with more from the web - Jamillah
