i am still shaking soooooo badly. i am also in the US and i got SO scared. what did they really mean!?! i wish we could har the real thing, there must have been a reason, otherwise in a university like UCLA, there must be more logical things happening!!!i cant stop crying. poor little boy! and i hate my government which lets other people behave with us like this!

This event is not a big deal at all. It is not about Iranians or Immigrants, the police have some duties and obligations. The student should have shown the card or left the site immediately. It is not acceptable to resist and trying to escape at the final minutes is even more suspecting behavior. The police is trying to protect people and provide a safe place for other students. A person who is hiding his/her identity is very suspicious, I think the police did the right thing to arrest this student. Besides from the video, the student doesnt seem to be in a balanced condition, he sounds very arrogant and looks to be under drugs influence. Anyway, I'm an iranian student in the US too and I dont have any problem with the way I'm being treated here. So please lets stop this sappy persian behavior, as I said it's not about being an immigrant at all. Plus he was released the next day, think about what would happen if this story was happening in Iran? The student would be disappeard and no one would know what has happened to him.
