The news letter is in and so I will post it here for all who have not yet received it...here goes:

    Hello,

The president of Kazakhstan is on the TV at the moment, giving a news conference about everything he can possibly think of, besides Borat. He's just been asked about the movie, but has given an answer which is about Iraq. Now, finally, he's talking about Borat. I think you'll like his response.

It's almost certainly not our lead story, but it's the only one so far today to make me laugh. Apart from one in the following list. Well, two actually. I would be fired if I told you which two. So in no particular order, we're looking at

*** the poisoned former Russian Secret Service man
*** Tessa Jowell on the cost of the Olympics
    *** the return of Jackanory
*** Tessa Jowell's estranged husband goes on trial
*** Sir Richard Branson talks to Sir Nils Blythe
*** the murder of an Iraqi comedian.

One final thing: I asked the other day what your view of the world is at 5pm. I wonder whether you have a camera? Put the two together, and you'll have some idea of what our exciting new thing is. We'd really like you to take part, especially if, like me, you never take part in these things and leave them to other people.

Full details to follow, but if you could dust down your camera, we'd be grateful.

    Best wishes,

    Eric Nazarbayev

By the way the lilypad is coming along nicely. Fifteen of us perched on there now, and probably about to form two groups: one for content, one for tecky talk.

There are rumours of an anatomical link to suggest ways of not incurring frogeration by accidentally mentioning bits of bods. The sweetie-run project is taken care of.
