OK - the last and positively final set of pics from China
featuring Hugh's talented producer Tara. I worked with her once on an OB in New York. We have both taken a vow of silence about our behaviour. The China trip was very much her initiative so - two thumbs up, as they say in film circles.
Here she is moonlighting for The World This Weekend (Listen Again if you missed it)
and this is Tara sheltering from overwhelming New Year Noise to check her recording.
Tara sounds great fun - and looks as though she enjoyed herself, too. I did hear TWTW and, like the reports on PM, found it utterly absorbing.
How fortunate we are to have the ´óÏó´«Ã½, with such committed talent to make other worlds come alive?
Thank you Tara, Thank you Hugh, Thank you Marc, Thank you Eddie.
My, Lord Mair, that rugby shirt you're wearing tonight looks very smart! Is it one of those ironed so kindly for you by Lady Sequin?
Out of interest, would you be able to post in your newsletter a line to let us know which team you are supporting on any given night?
Thank you.
have they posted a newsletter today - certainly haven't had mine.
Tara - thank you for your contribution to all the China reports - I'm sure you can see from all the comments over the last couple of weeks how much we've enjoyed them. It's been an amazing insight into somewhere that I for one, was incredibly ignorant about.
The photos, and being to ask questions directly has been great. If anyone's listening form PM - can we have more like this please?
Thank you! GMx
Re We have both taken a vow of silence about our behaviour.
Eric, surely you know better than to tempt frogger-curiousity with a line like that?! You utter, utter tease. Come on, out with it!
A, x. (Not jealous at all, honest. *looks at the ceiling, whistles and blushes slightly*)
Eddie, if you don't tell, I shall start all sorts of rumours!
Aperitif/Helensparkles - the answer is this:
what happened in New York, stays in New York...which also applies to Beijing.
Tara and Hugh have been great company, and have helped make this into a very enjoyable journey.
Good to see the blog is behaving, as are you all.
Sorry NBP Marc, but I'm not buying that (7) -- why would Eric mention it if he didn't want, even subconciously, to be quizzed? You are displaying the same inclination with regard to Bejing.
Both of you -- TELL ALL AT ONCE :-)
Hello NBP. And your two companions. Now I don't want to make you feel inadequate, but it seems that since you have been away, the blog has in fact been fairly well-behaved. Unlike the froggers. (I trust I don't speak too soon...) I fear you may exude some sort of magnetic force which interferes with its well-being when you are close to it. But with you in China, well, things are fairly rattling along. As I said though, really don't want you to feel inadequate.
Are you going to send us some photos too? Chinese cooking always looks interesting, you could get some nice pics there. I think we've probably seen enough firecrackers for the moment. Anyone would think the Chinese invented gunpowder...
I tried to post earlier -- saying basically "New Blog Prince aka Marc, I don't buy it -- why would Eric mention it if he didn't want to be probed about it?" but it seems to have been randomly moderated out.
*Exasperated sigh*
why would Eric mention it if he didn't want to be probed
Pardon?
Oh dear Belinda! Is that you or me for the naughty corner??? ;-)
