Absolutely. Couldn't add anything further.
I see the original policeman's shift has ended and that his twin brother Al has taken over. I hope he didn't have baked beans for lunch today.
It says to me that the sun has not moved in London for the past six hours; the shadows still go from right to left as they did in the previous "Live Picture". Either that or Number 10 is on some sort of geo-centric turntable so that the sun always appears to shine in the same direction - no matter what the time of day. By the way, is that still the same policeman or is it the twin? Did anyone see them do the swap over?
H.
Eddie...i see plods brother is now on duty.
Oh my! I can hardly tell you what my level of excitement is now!
:p

Eddie - it's still very quiet on the old street they're probably all away..doing a giant conga and dance on the political grave of Tony Blair.
"This live picture says it all"
It says it's not Live!
*** SPOILER WARNING ***
Giving it a different filename doesn't fool me. It's the same picture as 9:45am. Both the policeman and the shadows are in exactly the same places.
*** END SPOILER ***
How funny the shadow hasn't moved since this morning--could this be the day the earth stood still?

Who's Tony Blair?
mittfh: Welcome to the mad world of Eddie Mair.
This is too much! I shall have to go for a lie-down.....
To: PM
My eight month old daughter said earlier today that Tony Blair is the bestest Prime Minister she's ever known.
The fact Eric hasn't made any mention of 27th June yet indicates that, like the rest of us, he doesn't give two hoots.
Incidentally, at time of posting, my spoiler was SB1. This post SB11, sent 16:30
....all..... of course the shadow hasn't moved. the sun shines out of GB's bottom and he hasn't moved.
DOWNING STREET
I lived there once 'til the Blairs moved in that is.
:-(
A vintage 1630 trail for the programme, if I may say so, Chairman Mair. Keep it up!
Humph;
No. 10 is the centre of the Universe, didn't you know? Which is why the light always shines from the same direction.
Or maybe DI W is correct at (14).
Si.
Windy. Daisy:
thats one astute eight month old you have there!
The coverage of Tony Blairs resignation has been as partisan as one has come to expect of the ´óÏó´«Ã½. If you do not understand how damaging to your international reptutation this is then you will always be subjected to the question 'How objective is the news coverage from the ´óÏó´«Ã½? This is, to me, one of the sadest outcomes of the coverage of the Iarqi war. The ´óÏó´«Ã½ decided that it didn't approve and continued to tell us so in no uncertained terms. This, I possit is not your remit. You are supposed to give us the news , without telling us what to think. You continue to fail in that remit. You are still trying to tell us what to think. This is not your job and you do our ´óÏó´«Ã½ a diservice by your belief that you can influence the political ...thinking of the people. You should not. you should be giving us the news and should trust that we can make our own minds up. After all we are the people
Yours, Julia North
I have just tried to post a critical comment to the ´óÏó´«Ã½. Are you telling me this is not alllowed?
Julia,
I can't work out from your post whether you think the ´óÏó´«Ã½ is pro or anti Blair?
R
Julia North,
Your comments made it through in remarkably quick time. Moderation on this Blog is not of the kind you appear to intimate. Other regular bloggers will confirm this. Don't jump to conclusions!
I agree with Julia North that the coverage of this "resignation" has been very one-sided. Yes there have been good things - but not those being promulgated. More students in Universities? More "dropping out"! Better education, less children leaving Primary able to read and write well! Better NHS - 10 years on and still mixed wards! And then there's the coronation of GB! I rest my case. No mention of the "West Lothian" question, is it only me that thinks that this is now extremely important due to the rise of the SNP?
..cor that Julia North, she is a larf, 'ad 'er in the back of me cab once, or was it twice? On the way to a blogging conf. she was..'adn't a clue..
I'm making a nice hot possit for her head
Lesley Roberts appears not to be aware that the SNP do not vote on English matters at Westminster. So if she is concerned the 'West Lothian' question she should applaud the rise of the SNP.
Funny, how nobody seems concerned about Church of England bishops in the House of Lords making decisions that affect Scotland, Ireland and Wales. Is this the 'Canterbury' question?
