Meet the commissioners, view the terms of reference and hear the Commission Chair Sir Michael Lyons explain his approach.
Not for us Firefoxers, Eric!
It wasn't me, I promise, and I'm a firefoxer, too!

Not guilty!
I'm also Firefox for the day!
It's quite pretty in blue (if illegible).
Still much nicer in normal colours. Thanks Mozilla!
Lucky you, RJD. I'm now in the office & stuck with IE :-(
Oh help - what did we do to sort this last time? I remember that I missed it.
Is this in honour of the probable demise of the takeover by Thaksin Shinawatra (known locally as Frank) of Manchester City?
The poor man (other adjectives are available) appears to have had his assets frozen and it is now totally unclear whether the takeover will happen. It is also totally unclear whether this is a dreadfull or fantastic thing and it is totally unclear who will lead City into the transfer window and how they will keep the club in the Premiership next season.
I'm sur e there are some great comments but I can't read them without making my eyes ache!
Maybe it's an anti-Amphibian conspiracy of the bosses with McSoftie

It should be easy to fix, the man from Siemens said it was one of these ' last time I recall?
White on Grey, Great combination.
From context, I'm asuming the colour scheme's gone wonky for people browsing with MSIE. Looks fine on Safari (Mac). For those unfortunates stuck with Microsoft...
Mah colour scheme's wonky,
Ah cain't read the Blog.
Mah colour scheme's wonky,
Ah'm as sick as a dead dawg.
Mah wife been done left me,
Found a guy with a Mac,
Ah tried to install Linux,
But Bill Gates gave me the sack.
The good old days are gone,
Ah cain't hardly remember,
Just when the colour scheme's fixed,
Ah drop back to September.
Ah got those PM Bloggin' Blues...
I want to see what it looks like, but I can't even find IE!
you can read the comments a little easier if you click & drag over them to highlight...
Does this work?

Also from the source code, an open html span:
Roisin ElderLikelhy to have happened when the strapline was changed?xx

The Blog is Blue in sympathy with me.
How this could have been changed by a huggis from Eddie.
Too late, Eddie. My birthday was yesterday.
In IE, go to edit/select all
xx

Well I LOVE blue. Bestest colour ever. Give me blue blue blue! forever.
Now, if only the comments appeared in sexy blue instead of stupid white the frog would be perfect.
:o(((

Re:- SSC In defense of MSIE - perhaps if the coding of the blog didn't have an error in the first place then all would be ok? - We were told it was an error last time - a misplaced cooma I believe.
Re: BigSister -
You had a group hug from us all - now come on - snap out of it!
;-)
If you do not have the tool-bar for the edit option (I do not in my IE page) Ctrl+A does the same thing. This is the first time that I have got to see the Firefox effect since I installed it. Yippeeee!
H.
Jonnie, wonderful though a group hug may be, it cannot ever compare to a huggis from Eddie.
Sorry. They are not the same beast.
"oh blimey"
The very words of the technical guru when I spoke to him!
But don't worry, he is on the case and should be sorting it as we speak!
That must be some sort of record...!
I'm sur e there are some great comments but I can't read them without making my eyes ache!
I get that, whatever the colour.
It was a human error, probably when the strapline was changed.
an html command was left incomplete:
</span
should have been </span>
xx

Hmmm - thats better
In firefox, ctrl-u gets the source code and any errors are highlighted in red.
(in case anyone is sad enough to be bothered)
;-(
ed
Ed - I'm *very* glad you bothered as that helped solve the problem very quickly!
Good-bye, blue Monday.
Jason @ 9 - I'm trying, but I just can't make out the tone of your comment. Is it "disinterested observation"? Or "mildly smug smirk"? Since the coding problem has been fixed, the only problem some of us are having interacting with the frog stems from the build up of tears on the keyboard...
Incidentally, for browsing pleasure, I suggest Firefox with the Noia 2 theme. It has a wibbly-wobbly feel and makes reverting to IE very grim.
Look guys and girls, I visit this blog everyday, and even comment if I can get away with it. Now, being among such world-wise and intelligent people could I suggest cutting the bull and trivia, get serious for a year or two, slap the political classes about the face and cooperate to sort out the mess this self-indulgent, consuming with no end, world social order? It's up to us; get active and redirect some of that energy spent as if we're all retired and just observers. We can do it, boys and girls!!!

If I could be God for just one day, would the world be a better place?
Or perhaps I mean:
If you could be God for just one day, would the world be a better place?
And why is it that people who are sure that it would be scare me more than those who don't know?
Just in case we get the blues again:
If one uses Opera and sets it to emulate MSIE, does it get the blues?
Troll (35) : Most of us are not so much Angry Young Radicals, as Grumpy Old Twits*.
We're the sort of people who have the experience and knowledge, as well as the skills, to write the speeches and campaign materials that you and your colleagues then use to go out and change the world.
Horses for courses, my friend. And more power to yer elbow!

Some people are so easy to offend.
All i ask is not to confuse bashing a keyboard whilst listening to the radio as our role in running our own affairs. It is not enough to be critical, we all must be active. We have to gather together; it means wearing out the shoe leather. That is not a megalomanic desire to be a "god". I have many faults but that is not one of them.
We must cooperate or we are stuck with the state machine and will pass it on to our grandchildren. We are staggering blindly into a Police State. A few dozen corporations can have more effect on our lives than anything we've ever voted for. We slaughter thousands and call it freedom. We can have a free association of people, we have the technology!!! Our lives belong to us!!
ps- I am in no way a youth!!! Thanks for the speeches Fifi!
"First they came for the Jews; and I did nothing because I was not a Jew. Then they came for the Communists, and I did nothing because I was not a Communist. Then they came for the Trade-Unionists, and I did nothing because I was not a Trade-Unionist. And then they came for me, but there was no one left to help me".
Troll,
On the again?
