First the bad news -
Michael's report is being held over till tomorrow. The good news is he's sent three more photos.
Michael says: "We'll be reporting from Long Beach
where I saw these hatching turtles...
...They can grow to up to 1.5 m in length and weigh up to 300kg."
Great photos!
Ohh. Is that the lesser spotted Red-X turtle, or the common or garden variety?
Uh oh, looks like the photos are being held over till tomorrow as well... Mine just say "jpg"in a white box. Not that that's not beautiful in its own minimalist way, of course. Heavens no, I'm not complaining.
Great Photos.
Can you elaborate as to why Michael's report is being pushed out? (Just interested, that's all...)
Nice to see the turtles hatching! Must almost be time for the turtles on the Beach as we..
What's displaced Michael's report? Paris Hilton broken a nail?
(Sorry, heat's getting to me so I *am* at home to Mrs Sarcastic...)
Wonderful turtle pics - are they sharing the collective birthday too? (Is Michael that speedy with his communications?)
Another glassbox gone walkies....
why? I was looking forward to that!!
Knowing how running orders can change, I did think it might prove premature of Michael to state that his report would be on tonight's programme!
I guess a bit more grim news came in, huh?
The turtlets are lovely.

Heard his report on the sunday morning news prog yesterday. You know the one that Eric once presented. Was quite interesting so am looking forward to what is now tomorrows item.
Is anyone else seeing a resemblance between picture 3 and this one...
Just me? Down to the opticians it is then.
Ah! How sweet!!
Can we adopt the turtle?
Who want to give him/her a name?
:)
Can we have baby turtles on OUR beach? Can we? Can we?
I hope Michael's report hasn't been pulled for too much cursing and muttering.
Ian, that's unkind!
witchiwoman (7) Or is Michael in speedos sending his communications?!
Is it? But everyone's loves the turtle

I think as Eddie has forgotten about his competition on your 'Where in the world photo'
/blogs/pm/2007/06/where_in_the_world_2.shtml
you can now reveal the answer for us?
I think we had better check the Beach and see if they've hatched there...
Re Ian --
I did send an earlier post with a couple of links but it didn't make it - suffice to say you are very wicked!
Re: Michael and Eddie, Marc and the PM team -
To echo what nikki-noodle sometimes says:
This is an excellent blog - Thanks again from us froggers.
anth, I can see small flippery (orl speling korekt) things there...
and it's not a froglet in diving gear
