    Oh, Roger, what a great photo! And you look so surprised, yet pleased, to be in the limelight.

    Now, Eddie, how's about a photo of you with the guys?

    What a handsome trio - Roger looks fit (piggy in the middle) - with a visitors pass? ?

    +++++++++++++++

    Now the plumber left Radio 2 on in the bathroom this morning - so I cleaned my teeth listening to Terry who was recounting an e-mail.

    The e-mail went along the lines of :-

    Terry, I've just been watching GMTV and was astounded when Fiona broke into a live report about the flooding in Sheffield and said:- "Well we have to leave it there as we have some breaking news, we are now crossing live to the States where we have live pictures of Paris Hilton leaving jail" !!!!!!!!!!!!

    Doesn't it just say it all really?

    I'm guessing that the one who needs a label outside his trousers to remind himself who he is - is that Roger? Or is that his Get Into The Glassbox Swipe Card?

    What's that label on his trousers? Did he nick his clothes or is it washing instructions? Did his mum sew it on in case he gets very, very drunk and can't remember where he lives?

    Aaaagh! Terrible picture.

    Eddie had this photo in his possession YESTERDAY, but because I was sitting opposite him obviously didn't dare post it until, sneakily, he knew I'd be out of the office for the day.

    Still, as he's often said when I've stitched him up in the past: 'Re-wengay will be mine'.

    The trouser 'label' is indeed my ´óÏó´«Ã½ pass, which for some reason ALWAYS faces the wrong way. I don't know why.

    The Freds, by the way, were extremely fun and likeable chaps.

    Rog

    PS. Big Sis... The Freds refused to be photgraphed with Eddie, because he's too bald. And has no teeth since his last one was filed down yesterday.

    Now Roger (10) as you know I couldn't really post ANYTHING on the blog yesterday. And thank you for your text message. And yes it is indeed my re-wengay for you-know-what.

    O.K. I give up. Can have a clue, please?

    Jonnie;
    It certainly speaks volumes, about GMTV and Fiona Phillips. Lightweight and mind-blowingly tedious. Give me Carrie Gracie, Jane Hill and the ´óÏó´«Ã½ news ladies any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

    Adrie;
    It's the washing instructions for one in no. Roger Sawyer. They forgot to remove the label when they bought him. Look very carefully and you'll make out;
    'Do not tumble dry'
    'Do not dry clean'
    'Pre-soak in finest single malt for four hours'. 'Then place in front of a load of listeners, angry at the quantity of trailers, and hang him out to dry'.

    Roger the Editor;
    Remember. Revenge is a dish best served cold.... By the way I'm intrigued by your description of Eddie. He sounds a lot like old man Steptoe. Not quite how the Blog ladies picture him, I'm sure. It makes clear that the masthead picture of the man is a triumph of Photoshop over reality.

    Si ;-)

    Oh Roger, Eddie is too bald? You mean, he's even more bald than the guy in the middle of that photo?

    You do realise you've not only brought the wrath of Eddie on you, but also have left a number of people feeling completely UnEddiefied now.

    Could this be why the webcam was unavailable yesterday? ;o)

    Ed;
    With this flood picture you are really spoiling us. What you can't see are the rest of the high street stores at the bottom of the steep hill. Now that's what I call a flood. Most fun I've had all day.

    Roger the Ed;
    Dish the dirt about you-know-what. Eddie's as good as invited you to do it anyway. Go on, do it. You know you want to.

    Check out the masthead photo. Conveniently cropped to remove any evidence of cranial follicular regression, or recession even.

    I'm also convinced that it's been worked on to remove any signs of aural hirsuteness, another sure sign of ageing. Ask me, I know (about cropping in Photoshop and ear-hair, sadly).

    Can we all stop being nasty to Eddie today? The poor man is still suffering from the discovery that, as you age, not only does your hair fall out (from the top bit, though not elsewhere), but your teeth also fall apart. And he hasn't even begun the true decline yet - just wait til he discoveres incontinence!
