Eddie Mair sees dead people...
D**n! I was just going to comment "but why is nobody talking back?" and DT pips me at the post. So then Eddie, along with seeing dead people, are you having a frog party?
...there's a certain ambiguity here Eddie...
When you say "late" do you mean:
Late arriving..?
Deceased..?
Possibly, Pregnant..?
Are we, the Bloggers supposed to be - happy, sad or, neutral...
...well, my glass is normally half-full so, Lissa & Eddie, congratulations..!
Yes, congratulations Eddie and Lissa! Will Froggers be helping to name the... erm... Frog-sprog?

As to the term "late". EM here appears to be using the term in the same way as my late father - except I use the term in only the one way that posts #1 - 3 also assume.
I use "late" in this context, as in "late" followed by a person's name &c, here to mean deceased, and only that meaning. And my father died some time ago.
Others use it to mean someone who has moved away from their active social circle, as in "departed", or even, to my surprise from my dictionary (which I consulted to see if the last was a described definition), "out of office".
As Lissa moved away to Derbyshire, and (very occasionally) continues to post on the Blog, I'm assuming it's one of the latter definitions that EM is using when he uses the term.
Any interesting gossip, Eric?
...tha'ts a great idea Franz (5). We Froggers can "Jump Start" the Sprogs naming process...
Oh dear... since my previous post, more have appeared, and makes mine as if I put on my anorak before I started to post.... but actually, for various reasons, the use of the phrase "late" followed by a name &c is something I'm quite sensitive to.
Eddie - Hope your first job in the morning will be to post a link to the bit on Broadcasting House where Paddy came close to filling his borrowed motorcycle leathers as he was taken round the TT course on the pillion of some chaps bike!
...mind you Franz, if the result of this "union" is a fur covered (white, black, or brown) animal that wears yellow and brown checkered trousers and a scarf, there's no naming required...
Clearly, it's Rupert... Or, Rupert's..!
Pleasure to speak to you, Eddie. I've emailed PM with a link to some photos.
Pleasure to speak to you Jason - I look forward to the pics.
.... but hopefully in time for that shop...
(this will mean nothing to anyone else...but who cares?!)
Ah! But you were too early!
Hmm! 2 above posts appeared in the wrong order. Now they make even less sense!!
And brief video of Jonnie Skypeing....click the link. How more interactive can you get?
And a jolly good time was had by all!
Thank you Lissa, thank you Eddie. And, Eddie, don't you think you might be our 'inspiration'?!
But it's 'good' mad, not 'bad' mad - Honest!
PS to GM - Glad you made it, sorry I missed you.
Haha - how surreal Jason ! Thank you!
The posting with a link to the photos didn't pass censor. Sorry.
Nice to have you back -on the blog- Big Sis -- You were missed!
Great to hear your voice Eddie - erm well, you know what I mean, your real voice! Even if someone I know doesn't understand the concept of a speakerphone ;-)
Lissa, you remain the Frog Queen.
And Moses spake unto them: "Rufff!"
Jonnie: Nice of you to say so, and you'll see that I'm now 'digging for victory' to get us to 50k comments! (Oh, and I missed you, too, both here and yesterday.)
Jason - do you think Moses was giving his opinion of the froggers? Or just how he thought they were going to be feeling when they woke up this morning?
I thought he seemed like a pretty wise type of dog - could be both...
I do hope other froggers will be inspired to have a go at meeting up .. I can't begin to describe what fun it was!
Luckily I don't have to. Moses T Dog has kindly given a full account on the newer thread with pix.
The hardest part is explaining to spouses, friends, workmates etc that you're off to a reunion with people you've never met...
Miss Pooh Bear's lightning-fast sketch of me playing guitar, alongside my alter ego the notorious tartan-clad Flying M---e, adorns the wall above my computer.
Further gossip will be witheld until suitable bribes are received!

I'm sorry to hear I missed out on such a good time. Hopefully I won't be on the road next time a frog-together is arranged!
FFred froggin' from a service-station somewhere on the M6 on his way home...
Hmmm... I've just had my come-uppance for going away and having a great day on Sunday. I've been sent to Room 502. Has my SO joined the team of moderators, I wonder?
Again?????Okay, I promise never to run away from home again!
Fearless, you were missed!
Val P (21), Speakerphone? What's that then?
Jason (22) Hahahaha!
:-)
Just to clear up some early confusion:
'The late Lissa' just refers to her no longer being a PM producer, but an ex-one.
Any other connotations were certainly not evident yesterday, and that wasn't grape juice in her glass!

Appy(27) Aw shucks! It's annoying that things are so busy at work at the mo' I wanted to finally meet up with my fellow froggers after all this time, if only to see if people could guess who I was!
grrrr! Why am I being called malicious? I haven't frogged fr over 3 hours!
Ffred - it was incredible how very little guessing was required! Sorry you were a-travelling.
Appy - oh it's a technical term, don't you know. Btw I do hope you didn't head off to the Naughty Corner when you left?
Gillian - but you'll have to runaway, for the next one! Unless you can persuade him to chauffeur you?
well, as long as you let me know when the next one is. With a bit of luck, it'll be when things are a little quieter here, so I can make it...
Val P (31) SO and I have come to an arrangement.....the next time, I will tell him where I am going! ;o)
Gillianian - did you really not tell him?
Btw I've managed to get my photos on to Flickr, not sure how to do the linky thing.......
Val (31), Well I couldn't let RJD sit in the naughty corner by himself, could I?
Fearless (32) Check your Flickr!
Gillian (33) What did you actually say then?!
Val (34) Had a look -- very good.
:-)
Appy (35) Done & replied, THANKS!!!
Val, to do the Fl!ckr link, log in to the site, then click on the "You" button near the top. This'll bring you up to the page that shows Your Photos. If you look at the web address you're now on, it'll be along the lines of wwwdotflickrdotcom/photos/your flickr name. This is the link you want. copy that (Hightlight the address, Ctrl+C). Next time you frog, post this into the Website box, and you're set!
Oh Fearless - into the website box, good grief that simple?? Why on earth has no-one told me that already. OK here goes, I'm going under.....
Come up Val!
Well done Valp - lovely job
Oh - does it work then? So can you link to anything you fancy?
Val P - You know, before I clicked on your link, I KNEW EXACTLY where I was going to end up! Nice one!
Clever Val! I'm impressed that you've done 2 links today already. No stopping you now!
I'm embarassed to report that the way I did my link for the photos was to copy the source info which SO found on RJD's comment, onto a piece of PAPER, using a PEN, carry it into the music room where the other computer lives, & type it in. SO wanted to email it to me from the other computer so I could copy & paste it in, but I know my limitations...
Very resourceful Annasee, just the kind of thing I've resorted to today when trying to alphabetise a list of stuff, editing in Wiki.
So now I can do italics and links!
RJD - aha, so you do mind-reading too. And for your next trick?
Val P - My next trick? I just knew you were going to ask me that!
RJD - oh you're so sharp, you'll cut yourself!
Actually I tried to link to something else and couldn't find anything even vaguely interesting or funny in my Favourites :-(
Val P - You've gone linkless!
Just had a silly idea...
Appy - ha ha ha, that was fun. Silly though :o)
RJD - I'm looking for a new one. Any ideas?
Ap - This moving business is obviously not good for your brain - go and lie down for a bit and have a rest!
Val P - Oh the temptation is irresistible. First thought was to suggest a link to Hibs but I rejected that as too obvious and in bad taste. (me, rejecting something because of bad taste?I think I'd better think that through again)
Leave it with me I'll think of something!
Over to you RJD..
Tee hee
The ´óÏó´«Ã½ is often accused of being left inclined. I do not generally find this a problem but Martha Kearney's(??) interviews on the one o'clock news programme does encourage the critics.
The ineterviewer did not ask Ali Moraj??? the obviuos question: "Did you ask for a peerage?" He was allowed to escape with suggesting that the peerage was not the point or wording to that effect.
However when she came to the question of whether or not David Cameron or some other person authorised the inclusion of his name on the voting forms, she pursued the point relentlessly, questioning one Conservative after another. I do not blame her for doing so but it is strange that she did not pursue Mr Moraj? so keenly.
