Sorry, Eddie: Who is Sylvia Dee? Did she write the song with which our old friends Morecambe and Wise are eternally linked?
Incidentally, just the thought of Our Eric makes me smile. And the sun's shining, too.
Hats of to the Hero of Morecambe.
I think she wrote it. And now I have the song in my head.
Tomorrow, I'll pick out a name.
Nah, stick with "Eric" -- it suits you.
Eddie - me too. Which makes a change from the KT Tunstall song thats been lodged in my brain for the last week.

HTH
"In this world where we live
There should be more happiness
So much joy you can bring
To each brand new bright tomorrow"
Or something like that.
Anyway, Eddie, hope you're having a sunny day.

Thanks for today's picture. M & W were two of the warmest, consistently hilarious, entertainers I've seen and I didn't know (never thought aboout it) that Sylvia Dee composed the song associated with that wonderful act.
Couldn't be more apt that M & W's theme song and it's composer should form part of the "Beeb's" Star Terrace sign
Like Big Sister, I'm now wearing a big smile...
Thanks for sunshine thought.Did anyone see Queen's Guard last night?Completely otherwise immobile, soldier squeezed sister's hand while guarding St. Jame's Palace.
It's stuck in your brain? (An "Ohrwurm" or earworm as it's called in German). Never mind, this will clear it out -
We sang at a wedding where the happy couple walked (disappointingly - no skipping!) back down the aisle to 'Bring me sunshine...'
isn't this how Eddie ends every programme? skipping into the distance with one hand behind the ear, then the other, then the other... then the other...
"Bring me fun - bring me sunshine.... briinng meee loooOOoovvvve"
[ahem]
